Zwan in Milwaukee was fantastic. Seeing Marissa and meeting her friends was cool too. They're too nice for me to handle, I think. Now I'm going to sleep so we can drive to St. Louis in the morning to see Zwan again. Yes. I'm excited!

The one where he was in the air for like 7 seconds and switched the ball from one hand to the other like 5 times and then gently tossed it into the hoop? Yeah, it was pretty pathetic. Paul would've "dunked the fucker"! Bitch.

Work is slow today. Zwan is tonight in Milwaukee. And then tomorrow night in St. Louis. I'm excited.

Bill didn't make it into WOFT. It sucks because I wanted to see that bitch this weekend and now he can't come. He's shipping to boot camp in Missouri next Tuesday. I suppose he will be closer to Lombard, but that doesn't really matter because I CAN'T SEE HIM! Everyone send mail to Bill and wish him luck. Seriously, even if you don't know him. I know there are only 5 people that read this, but whatever.

Last night I went to dinner at the Macaroni Grill with Chris Hopkins, Adam Bolur and Sarah Marousek. We were gonna go to Garfield's in Riverside mall, but it no longer exists! So sad. Garfield's was where the infamous "Bono" sketch was done (picture Bono of U2 with Chris' ripped-off cock in his hand and Chris on the ground screaming). Of course, that was in Moline when Bill and Chris came to visit me at god-awful Augustana. But whatever. So yeah, we had dinner and some drinks, then we went to Hollywood video and rented Bloodsport. Then we came to my house and watched it. I passed out about halfway through because I'm pathetic. I have to make sure I see Chris on Sunday before he too leaves for bootcamp.

So yeah. A couple of my best friends are off to join the military in less than a week. When I first heard about this, it wasn't really a big deal. I suppose I just didn't really think about it too much. But now that the day has almost arrived, it's kind of freaking me out... especially with this Iraq bullshit that's happening. It's quite a step to take, or at least it would for me if I were in their shoes. Maybe I'm being a little extreme when I say this... but I hope to Chris(t) this war is over quickly and that they don't have to do any fighting. I'm sure Bill would say, "Whatever, ya gotta do what ya gotta do" but I don't give a shit. If it were up to me, those assholes would live in my closet.

There's not much else to report. I think there will be some Babylon 5 tonight at Steve's, and then I'm going to Mica's for a bit. I smell dinner, so I'll write more later. Adios.

Paul and I are at work, eating lunch, listening to Thrice, and talking about going to SAN FRANCISCO CALIFORNIA in July with none other than Pete Gerharz. Now, I'm not talking about a gay ass flight to California. I'm talking about a god damned road trip across the country. We're excited.

Damnit! I just had a nice long post all finished and then the internet went insane.

I'm home. Decatur was fun. Erik and two Nicks and I jammed all day yesterday. It was loud, and they were way too good for me.

I need to work hard on the album this week. Jon will be here after what I'm calling "Zwan Weekend" (next weekend, bitches), and everything needs to be pretty much ready to go.

Marissa will be here Thursday! I'm excited. We're gonna eat pizza.

I need to have my dad take my car in this week for a little tune-up so it'll make the trips to Milwaukee and St. Louis (and back, preferably).
