I stayed home from work today. I wasn't really sick or anything, just ridiculously tired. So here I am.

Ian's band is playing tonight. I'm going with Rob, and possibly Adam and Paul. Steve, Tom, and Holly (Tom's girlfriend) will be there as well. I'm really looking forward to it.

Once again I've got this itch to push forward with the music thing. Last night I was really excited about it. I messed around with this one old song and actually puts some lyrics to it. So far so good. I need to sit down and really focus on some of the other songs. Then I need to find a practice space. Then a band. I called Kevin today. He said Devon is pretty busy with his other band now, so who wants to play bass? Maybe we can get a practice space downtown and Rob can play guitar.

My parents just got home. I was hoping they'd be gone until later tonight. I really want to move out. Soon.

Time to go relax some more. And work on some more songs. This was a stupid post.

I love 3 day weekends. There's something magical about staying up late on Saturday night, then sleeping in on Sunday and knowing that you can do it all over again one more time.

We played like 4 hours of Wiffleball yesterday in my backyard. I may love Wiffleball more than regular baseball, to be honest with you. It's like miniature baseball. You can play with as few as 2 players per team and you can play in the backyard (even a fairly small one like mine). Anyway, check out Paul's weblog for more details on yesterday's fun. We're going to get another game going tomorrow (Memorial Day!). Come one, come all. I'm excited. And, oh yeah, we may be putting together a TOTFBFFWBT sometime later this summer. If you don't know what that means, that's too bad. More news on this later.

We also got some poker going after the Wiffleball was finished. It's been a while, but I was getting some great hands and I won like 30 bucks. Fun times.

Today is a lazy day. I slept over at Kate's and woke up at like 11 this morning. Now I'm back home to clean up some stuff and change clothes. Then I'm watching Mia while Kate goes to work. It'll definitely be the longest I've ever watched her (3-11PM). I'm really excited, honestly. She's never let me put her to bed before, so we'll see how it goes.

Must go. More later.
