Kate and Mia and I are going up to Muskrat Manor (Kate's father's place) for the weekend. We were trying to get some other people to come with (Paul, Laura, Ian, Lauren, Rob, my parents, etc) but everyone is busy. Doesn't matter to me, it'll still be great. I'm going to kayak all day long on Saturday.

In other news, the Interlake Inside Sales team is pushing for a strong finish for July. We may see at least some sort of bonus after all (we thought we had no chance). This is good news. I need all the money I can get.

I'm hungry.

I sent out a little E-vite this morning for the "Return of Bill and Chris" party, which will take place at my house on Saturday, August 14th.  E-vites are kind of cool.  Thanks to Rob Westerholm for "E-viting" me to his "Grandma Party on the Road" and introducing me to the E-vite thing.  If you didn't get the E-vite this morning and you want to come to the party, e-mail me!

The remainder of the summer is looking excellent.  I can't believe the trip to San Francisco is next week already.  And then Bill comes a couple days after we get back.  I decided to try and take off work on Thursday and Friday (8/12 & 8/13) so we can hang out, maybe go to a Cubs game with Chris and Adam.  Mia's birthday party and Rob's party are on 8/21 and the Freedom Fiesta & TOTFBFFWBT are on September 5th.  I think I already went over all of that, didn't I?  Stupid.  After that I'm hoping that Kate and Mia and I can go on a little vacation to Wisconsin & Michigan from Septemeber 6th (Labor Day) through the 12th.  We'll probably go up to Kate's mom & stepfather's cabin in Wisconsin on Monday the 6th.  Then we'll head the rest of the way up to the U.P. and my parents' place the following day.  We'll stay there during the week and then meet Kate's mom back at the cabin for the weekend.  Should be fun.  I love vacation with those two girls.

The Cubs are still looking like tools.
