Thursday. This week has flown by. So has today. Too bad I have 5 more hours to sit here. Whatever.

Thank you, Bill, for the words of encouragement. You should also say something along the same lines to Paul, because he hates this place too. I need some coke.

Speaking of Bill (link opens in new window), it sounds like he's doing alright for himself out in Arizona. This makes me very happy. I need to find some time and money to make a trip out to visit him.

Anyone know how Chris is doing? I haven't heard anything from him.

Yesterday I got a call at work from Phyllis Archer. She told me about some pro-wrestling type shows that her brother Terry is setting up in the Chicago area. Supposedly he needs a band to play at some of these shows, and Phyllis asked if I'd be interested. I need to ask Kevin Hopkins (drums) and our buddy Devon (bass) if they'd be interested in putting something together. We'd probably just play a bunch of covers and stuff, which would be fine with me. Terry said he's expecting around 1000 people for some of these things. How sexy would that be? I'll keep you posted.

Karaoke tonight? Maybe. Time for lunch. Until next time...

Good afternoon kids. It's almost 3 PM and I'm just finishing up lunch. It's been busy today, which is kind of nice cuz time is really flying by. 2 hours to go.

Last night was kind of nice too. I went to my Aunt's for dinner and my grandpa's birthday and stuff. It was good to see everyone, but Kate and Mia couldn't come cuz Kate wasn't feeling too good. I went to her house afterwards and she was feeling worse. Then this morning she STILL felt terrible. But as of like 2 PM she felt much better, so that's good. Hopefully she can come over tonight or something, cuz she's kind of cool and I like hanging out with her.

Yesterday I found out that the Living End will be in Chicago in September with Bill's favorite bands Good Charlotte, Something Corporate and Mest. Now I won't say that these bands are terrible, but compared to the Living End? Yowza. I've seen TLE twice now and they're one of the best live bands I've ever seen. Their guitarist is completely insane. Since they're from Australia, they don't get to Chicago very often so I have to go see the show. Tickets will probably be like 30 bucks, but whatever. Maybe I'll bring sniper rifle and kill the members of Good Charlotte one by one, just for Bill.

Radiohead is in 3 days. Woo!

Thrice will be on Craig Kilborn tomorrow night (Thursday). You should watch it, because Thrice is good. If nothing else, just watch the little Japanese guy play guitar. He's such a badass.

Not much else to report. Interlake still sucks. Goodbye for now.

Good morning folks. It's 8:33 AM central time and I've been at work for about 45 minutes. Which means that I was about 15 minutes late. But that's pretty typical. I don't even remember the last time I wasn't late for work, but I also don't remember ever getting any shit or a smaller paycheck because of it. So fuck it. "Fuck it, Dude. Let's go bowling."

Ya know, bowling actually sounds like a lot of fun right now. I've always liked bowling quite a bit, but once I had the chance to drink a few pitchers of beer between frames it was that much more fun. Who wants to go drunken bowling?

Rob comes home today from vacation in Colorado. That little bastard. I missed him. We're going to see Radiohead at Alpine Valley on Saturday. It'll be my first time seeing them, so I'm excited. We got some halfway decent seats, but they were like 100 bucks a piece. Poop on that.

Tonight is dinner over at my Aunt Judy's house. My grandparents are heading back down to Florida, so we're kinda going to say goodbye and stuff. I think Kate and Mia are gonna come, which is so great. We'll see though. Mia had a fever yesterday, so hopefully she'll feel better today.

I should probably get back to work. I'll post again soon.

I'm only updating this because Bill is a little bitch. Good Lord it's been a long time. That's mostly because one of our computers died at home, and it happened to be the one through which the Internet comes into the house. I was unable to fix it, unfortunately (because I'm stupid), and due to some really stupid software issues we've been unable to set up any of the other two computers to access the Internet. This may turn out to be a blessing in disguise, however, because DSL sucks anyway. My parents are now thinking about getting a cable modem instead. Even though I would have to pay for half, it would mean we'd get regular cable TV instead of stupid satellite, which would mean cable in my room. Good times.

So I'm at work (still Interlake) as I post this. Work sucks. Paul would agree. I find it hard to believe that it sucks as bad as it does considering I work less than 10 ft from one of my best friends. Plus we have some pretty sweet ass cubicals. But it sucks nonetheless. There's not much else to say about it besides that. I might be asking for a raise soon. More on that to come.

In better news, I have a girlfriend and her name is Kate Villiard. Some people may know her from Westlake and/or Glenbard East. We've been dating for about two months now, and everything is just fantastic. I'm a happy happy happy boy. She lives like a block away, which is one of the coolest things ever. My parents like her. My friends like her. I love her. Things couldn't be better. She has a daughter named Mia, who is incredibly sweet and adorable. I wasn't quite sure what it would be like dating someone with a child, but it's been really, really cool. I'm sure you'll hear more about Kate and Mia and everything, so I'll stop now.

I also just spent about 1400 bucks on a new digital recording studio (with burner built in) and speakers and a microphone, and I've already begun recording the album I've been talking about for what seems like eternity. Things with Tom didn't really work out (don't even ask about him). But yeah. I'm working on the new stuff and it sounds pretty good so far. I'll keep you posted.

I must get back to work. Paul is working his ass off and I feel bad cuz I'm just messing around on the Internet. I'll post again sometime soon.

You happy now, Bill?
