Ahhh Friday! No matter how many weeks go by, Fridays never lose their greatness. It's the end of the work week, it's the first night of the weekend so you don't have to think about Monday, and it's PIZZA NIGHT. This felt like such a long week. A couple more weeks and it's THANKSGIVING.

Last night I found out that the Violent Femmes will be playing a New Years Eve show at the Metro, which could be totally awesome. But then I found out today that tickets are $75. I wonder if that means open bar all night? If so, it might be worth it. I think Bill will be in town, so I'm not sure if he'll want to go. Either way, doors don't open until 9 so we'll probably hang out at Rob's place for a while... assuming he has people over. Anyway - I can't believe New Years is as close as it is.

Wow - I guess I haven't posted in quite a while. Kate was in the hospital the Sunday after Halloween with some sort of digestive problems. They did a CAT Scan and found that she had colitis (sp?), which is basically an inflamed colon. This could be really bad, but it could also be no big deal. She went through a bunch of tests since then and nothing was conclusive, until she got a call last night. The doctor said she tested positive for some weird food poisoning INSIDE THE COLON. I have no idea how that could possibly happen, but it's good because it can be treated with antibiotics. Huge sigh of relief.

Sara won't be home for her 21st birthday, which makes me angry, but she'll be home for Thanksgiving so maybe we'll go out sometime that weekend. I'm also still thinking of taking her to Cancun. I need to decide soon, cuz prices are about as low as they're gonna get right now.

Work is the same as it always is. December 1st, however, marks the end of Throughput for yours truly. This means that more than half of the work I do will be transferred to someone else (does it really matter who?). At that point, Paul and I, along with our excellent manager John Kennedy, will begin to kick some serious ass and make some bonus cash. I'll still be at Interlake, which sucks, but it'll be a lot easier to go to work every day.

I'm still working on my album. That's all I can really say. It'll probably just be a stupid EP, cuz I want to start trying to gig and I need to have something to give to people if they think I'm not too terrible. That's about all for now.
