I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving. I'm back from vacation, feeling refreshed. The drives went smoothly, and the time spent at the cabin in Wisconsin and at the farm in the U.P. was wonderful. We didn't really do too much, but that was kind of the point. There was just enough snow during the week to take Mia sledding once or twice. The rest of the week we played games, checked out a couple waterfalls, took a bunch of pictures, and ate a ton of food. I can't wait to go back again during the summer.

Christmas is coming. I plan on getting most of my shopping done this week. Due to the tight budget, no vacations to Mexico for anyone this year!

New Years plans are coming along slowly. I should have the ok from BV (Kate's dad) to use his place sometime tomorrow. Bill will be booking his flight this week -- he'll be here from December 28th through January 2nd. My sister may come along as well.

Those two things (Christmas and New Years) are all I'll be thinking about for the next 3.5 weeks.

Time to go home!
