In honour of Chris Hopkins, who is heading overseas tomorrow to hang out in the Mediterranean, here's a great picture from the infamous trip to Jacksonville a few years ago. Here's to his safe return in a few months.

Kate and I saw the best condo last night in Carol Stream. It's in a little subdivision called "Timber Ridge" and it's fantastic. So fantastic, in fact, that we put in an offer right there on the seller's kitchen table! They sent us a counter-offer later in the evening, we re-countered shortly thereafter, they re-countered this morning, and we agreed on a price! So now there's a bunch of paperwork to fill out, a loan that needs to be approved, and some moving that we need to get ready for! The close date is only 30 days away (4/22), so it's a lot to do in a short amount of time. We're so excited though. Time to move out!!!

We also met with our wedding chaplain on Sunday evening. It went really well, and I feel great about the choice we made. Now we've just gotta get going on some of the other small details that we've been too lazy to figure out (linens for the tables, which food we want to order from Portillo's, drinks, etc).

Easter weekend is coming! My parents, Kate & Mia & I are meeting my sister up in Wisconsin at a hotel that has a huge indoor waterpark. It should be a lot of fun.

It's going to be busy the next few weeks, but I'm such a happy boy. Slicin' up eyeballs!!!
