Sorry, I haven't posted in a while. I was working on a nice long post a few weeks back that had something to do with music, but now I've completely lost track of what I was talking about so I deleted it. I can't even remember what's happened since the last time I posted. Every week seems like kind of a blur.

Let's see, I know that Kate's mom and step-dad had their annual Halloween party a couple weekends ago. I went as an old lady, which was kind of a last minute costume that turned out a lot better than I thought it would. Kate was a really sexy voo-doo doll. Grrr. Paul was ketchup and Laura was Dorothy (Wizard of Oz). It was a lot of fun until the old lady had a fit and ran home near the end of the night. We have pictures, and I swear one day I'll post some on here.

This is old news to most of you, but the Boston Red Sox came back from a 3-0 deficit to beat the evil New York Yankees in the ALCS. Not only was it a great series, but it's the first time ever in MLB history that anyone's come back to win a series after losing the first 3 games. Boston went on to win the World Series in 4 games against the St. Louis Cardinals. As Paul wrote in his blog, this is great for us Cubs fans because it proves that curses (or whatever the hell you want to call ridiculously long Championship droughts) either don't exist or can be broken. This should be an interesting off-season.

I feel like I missed about 3 or 4 other weeks, but whatever.

Halloween was yesterday. Mia went as a bunny rabbit and looked so adorable. Of course, she was being weird and only wanted to go trick-or-treating for like 10 minutes, but it was fun while it lasted. Then we had some pizza and it was good. Kate and I were planning on staying up late and getting drunk on the porch, but the time change really hit at about 10 PM and we both passed out.

I'd like to comment on Paul's latest post with regards to the Supreme Court, but seeing as how I steer clear of politics about as much as is possible (I'm not even registered to vote), I'll just "observe" the debate. I do like the idea of making these blogs something more than diaries, though.

Bill is coming for New Years again. I wonder what we're doing this year? Kate seems to have something in mind.

Back to work. I'm leaving early today because Paul is my boss. I love you all.
